We have just confirmed the rumours - it will sadden all their fans to learn that Slavik Kryklyvyy & Hanna Karttunen no longer dance together. Slavik and Hanna danced together for a very short time and represented Finland in Professional Latin. The only result we have in the database is the 6th place in the Professional Latin championships during the UK Open 2009. Please see their profile page and photogallery.

Please browse their dancer profile pages to check their results with former partners. Hanna, who originally comes from Finland (dancer profile) had a very successful partnership with Paul Killick between 1999 and 2004. They were the British Champions and silver World Professional Latin medallists as well as 2nd in Blackpool. Slavik, from Ukraine (dancer profile) danced with Elena Khvorova last year but his best results were with Karina Smirnoff. They were the USA national champions and bronze World Professional Latin medallists several years ago.

Even at Bournemouth they were a joy to watch and their love of dance was evident.  I am saddened but not surprised.  I wish them both the very best of success and happiness.  We need dancers of this quality although I unmderstand the lovely Hannah was slightly reluctant to return to competitive dancing.  Slavik we need you - come back soon-

It does not sadden me that they have split...only makes me happier that their dancing will continue with new partners and will keep the arena exciting. I love both dancers, but together they were not so good of a match and perhaps they realized this. Good luck to both you!
