Dutch Open 2009 is recognised as an Open Competition by NADB
It makes it possible for all couples to compete during Assen 2009
International Dance Masters Congress
9-11th November 2009 in Hotel Assen (Balkenweg 1, 9405 CC Assen). Please check the website for details and prices. This congress is an absolute must for every judge and competitor, as well as anybody else with an interest in the development dancing.

Entry
All entries will be confirmed by post. Entries must be accompanied by a completed ticket application (Booking form) or state the name of the person who has ordered the tickets.
Tickets
A normal entrance-ticket includes your admission to the ballroom, competition-entry-fee and all drinks in the ballroom during the festival. Although seats are not reserved, there are plenty of seats available on these tickets.
The reserved seats have to be booked in advance. The "business class" seats have private bars and buffet allocated. Check the organiser's website for more detailed information of how to book your tickets.
Prizes
The total money for prizes: EUR 35,250.00. Prizes will be paid to Professionals and Amateur couples (finals and semi-finals).

International panel of judges. Check the website for the confirmed names.
Travel/Accomodation/Food
Nearest airpot is Amsterdam. A special team takes care of transport between the airport and Assen. Transport between your hotel or bungalow and Dans2009 is arranged by taxi or bus.
There are plenty of hotels or bungalows of various standard and prices available nearby. Check the website for some addresses.
Lunches and dinners can be ordered separately during the festival (buffet)
