Rising Stars day at the UK Open 2019

The UK Open 2019 Championships started in the early morning on Tuesday so all the finalists tonight were on the dance floor for the whole long day. The first, very sparkly, lineup tonight was Amateur Rising Star Latin and the winners were Aimadi Zhang and Jia Hao Yue from China, who also won this event last year in Blackpool, followed by Mikhail Popov and Anastasiya Dubrovskaya from Russia and Maksim Bodnar and Olga Kuzmenko from Ukraine.
The second lineup was Professional Rising Star Ballroom. The top three places were taken by the couples from USA: the first place went to Valeriu Ursache and Liana Bakhtiarova, the second place went to Cristian Radvan and Kristina Kudelko, and the third - to Marek Klepadlo and Zhiting Yang.
The next final was Amateur Rising Star Ballroom and the final round was dominated by two nations: Ukraine and China. The winners on the day were Andrew Yefremchenkov and Anastasia Siabro from Ukraine. Andrew and Anastasia were very happy to win this event, as last year they were in the semi-finals. They were followed by the Chinese Tang Yu Jie and Zhu Yan Zhen. The third place went to the Ukrainian couple Dmytro Moroz & Kristina Kuzenko.
The day was concluded with the presentation of Professional Rising Star Latin dancers and the winners were Aleksandr Altukhov and Cheyenne Murillo who represent USA. Another US couple, Artur Tarnavskiy and Anastasiya Danilova, were second. The third place went to the Russians Vitaliy Didenko and Viktoriya Vershinina.
